Montessori info
Using a placemat as a defined area of work for kids aligns beautifully with the Montessori philosophy. It provides a sense of order and structure while promoting focus and concentration. The placemat serves as a visual boundary, allowing children to understand and respect their workspace. By having a designated area, they develop a sense of ownership and responsibility for their activities.
Additionally, the placemat enhances organization skills as children learn to arrange their materials within the given space. This simple practice fosters independence, cultivates a sense of purpose, and nurtures their innate desire for order and harmony, all essential aspects of the Montessori approach.
