Who can use Montessori Mates products?
Our materials and resources are designed for children aged 1 to 5+ years old. They can be used both in Montessori classrooms and at home.

Orders and Shipping

Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! Please refer to our Shipping Information page for more details.

How long does it take to receive my order? Shipping times vary depending on your location. You can find estimated delivery times on our Shipping Information page.

Can I track my order? Yes, you will receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped. You can use this number to track your package's status.

 

 

Damaged or Faulty Items on Delivery in Australia

Montessori Mates Pty Ltd will replace any good/s that arrive at their destination faulty or damaged, provided a claim is made within 24 hours from the parcel being delivered and signed for.

To confirm the damage we require photographic evidence.

Once received, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent out free of charge. In most cases, we will not require the damaged item returned to us, however, we do request that you keep the damaged item until we can confirm that we do not require it to be returned. If we do require the damaged item to be returned, we will cover the cost of its return. Customers are not charged for returning a damaged item to us.

What is your return policy? We offer a 30-day return policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact us for return instructions.

Are your products authentic Montessori products? Our products are inspired by Montessori principles but modernised to suit our modern families and lifestyles. 

Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing for educators? Yes, we offer special pricing for educators and schools interested in purchasing our products in bulk. Please contact us for more information.

Can I request custom-made Montessori materials? We do not currently offer custom-made materials, but we are always open to suggestions. Feel free to contact us with your ideas, and we will consider them for future product development.

What is the Montessori silicone placemat made of?
The Montessori silicone placemat is made of high-quality, food-grade silicone that is free from BPA, PVC, lead, and phthalates, making it safe for children to use.

How does the Montessori silicone placemat benefit my child?
The Montessori silicone placemat is designed to help children learn table manners and practice fine motor skills, such as scooping and pouring, as they eat. It also helps them develop independence as they learn to set their own place at the table.

Is the Montessori silicone placemat easy to clean?
Yes it is! Just wipe down, hand wash or wash in the top rack of your dishwasher. Please note, that if you use strong detergent, it may leave the smell trapped, so we recommend using a milder solution instead.

Why is silicone safe for baking and cooking?
Food-safe silicone is safe for baking and cooking because it is a non-toxic and inert material that does not react with food or release harmful chemicals when exposed to heat. It can also withstand high temperatures without breaking down.
